My Band!
Welcome to the musical side of Mackie Redd's life. He's been
performing professorial since he was fourteen, and during his career has
had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Tim O'Brien,
Peter Rowan, Chuck Pyle, T.R. Ritchie, Danial Boling www.danielboling.com and the Nitty
Gritty Dirt Band. He's played in country bands and bluegrass bands (Live Bait) and
it is true that he spent time in Nashville where he co-wrote songs with some of the best in the business... his favorite is still Kenny Cornell.
By the time he was 18 he was writing his own songs. In 1995 he released his first solo project - the album entitled When the Last Leaves Fall. His second album, Enjoy the Ride was released 2000 and his third album, Dreaming Out Loud, was released in 2009 .
