Wally and Kevin checking out the fire!
It's been pretty hot just about everywhere seems. Was 108 here yesterday and is already 80 this morning. Feel for those folks up there fighting this fire. The Silver fire, that's what they're calling it, has not made national news, I think because it hasn't cause any damage to homes or people, is a big fire. I'm going to go into the morning briefing and see what has happened over night.
We don't seem to be in too much danger. We are only about 2 miles from the fire but there is not much fuel down here to support a fire, so that's good.
The horses are staying shaded up during the day. We have a bit of a breeze but it's still plenty hot.
The Gray continues to make good progress. We are starting to ride outside more and he seems to be handling the pressure of the outside world pretty good.
The Stallion has the trailer loading DOWN! When I take him over to the trailer, I don't even get the chance to give him the cue to get in. That's a good thing.
Will try and keep you updated with info on what the heck I'm doing with horses and music.
