Looking north from the house!
The fire north of us is only a few miles, is getting bigger and bigger. I have ridden in that country a bunch and it is covered with dead fall, trees that have fallen down and brush. The pictures you see here and below were taken this morning from our back porch. We are in no danger of the fire but, some of our picking friends in Kingston NM are. I think they have been evacuated from their homes and the Forest Service is doing all they can to protect them and their homes.
Kathy and I spent the day in Tucson AZ looking at the barn we are going to lease, and getting the paper work in order. This will be a pretty big deal for us and is what we think we will need in order to make our business grow. We are both looking forward to the chance to work with, and help, more people with their horses.
Today the GRAY horse's owner will be here to see him and perhaps ride him a bit. Clint is the fella That I have been buying hay from for years. He came, with his daughter, years ago to a clinic we put on up here. This is the first time I have had the chance to help him with a horse so will take pictures and let you all know how that goes.
Will try and keep you updated with info on what the heck I'm doing with horses and music.
