![]() Shelby with Tim! Our good friends Russ and Sherry from Kansas stopped by to see us for a few days. Is always a treat to see them both. Russ and I use to play in a bluegrass band years ago, for about 12 years or so. Sherry is a pretty fine mandolin player in her own right... They brought their niece with them this year. Shelby is a sweetie too.. She has been around horses but not very much. I showed her the round pen process and she was eager to try. It did not take her long to get the idea and get Tim the gray, to follow her where ever she went. The process that I teach is so simple and easy that when folks try it, they have never been around horses, they are amazed... I then had Russ and Sherry get in there and give it a go and they did just as well as Shelby. We are off to the dump this morning.. Yep that's how we entertain down this way.. Told Shelby that all the really good looking cowboys hang out at the dump on Fridays... Sue, you remember Sue, she lives in the Membres Valley? Anyway she is going to help me put on a clinic at her place in Aug. so I am very excited about that...will be the first time I have worked with folks on that side of the mountain. It will be made up of folks that came from the Back Country Horseman club. They have seen a little about what I do and they seem excited. So, can't wait for that to happen.. In the mean time a lady from Hillsboro, Karen, is going to start coming out to the place to work with me. She is very excited and so am I..
If there are folks out there that would be interested in putting on a clinic in their neck of the woods, just get a hold of us using the contact from on the website or call... would love to help anyone that wants or needs it... now Coffee and conversation with Russ..
