Happy Anniversary Baby Doll!
Well, the trailer is off to the trailer doctor. After a quick look he was a little concerned how he was going to weld the wheel back on the trailer, but I think he has an idea.
When I got back from that little trip, Kathy and I helped Herb of www.cowboymanbar.com, to make up a few Man Bars for some orders that we received here at the bunk house. Kathy is learning how to make the Man Bars on her own, cause I may not be around to help her.
That wife of mine is amazing. Not afraid to try something new. Not afraid of a little work. And, today Kathy and I have been married 11 years. Speaking of work. lol. I've always heard it said "marry your best friend and your life will be full". It's true. And, if you can learn to always treat your mate like your best friend, you will remain that way, till death do you part!
Rode the Gray horse yesterday evening. He is making good progress. You can see the training that others have done with him, now that he is developing new skills. They taught the Gray to turn to the left or right with his body stiff and ridged. That's going to take some time to get him to un-learn that, but he will in time. Still a little jumpy, which tells me that the person that started him got on him and rode the thunder out of him. He thinks that he needs to go every time you get on his back. He will un-learn this too, in time. All in all, he is making good progress. He will be heading home the end of this month.
Just a note to let you all know I have a paying music gig in Hillsboro NM for the Black Range Winery this coming Saturday, for their grand opening. I play from 5-7 pm. There is a fella playing just before me but I don't remember his name. Should be fun so if you are in the hood stop by and say HEY!
P.S. had a rain last night and we got a half inch. I could hear the frogs down in our dirt tank looking for mates. We need more, but are so thankful for what we got.
Will try and keep you updated with info on what the heck I'm doing with horses and music.
