Today Thunder heads for home. He has been here a little over 30 days and had done pretty well. Now he and his owner will travel a trail that we all have to sooner or later, when we start to really put in to practice all that we have learned. I am very excited for them both.
Casino continues to do well. We are riding a little but working more on his ground work skills. We spend most of our time with our horses, on the ground, not in the saddle. So, it's important that he understands his role when we are on the ground with him. He is doing pretty good. Still wants to pull when lungeing but that will change in time. Will do some ground work with him this morning then ride a little later in the day. He continues to make good progress. He has figured out the hobbles, and now stands when I put them on him. That is a great skill and one I think that his owner will be able to use down the trail. Casino's owner comes tomorrow to see him so looking forward to that.
Will try and keep you updated with info on what the heck I'm doing with horses and music.
