You may have noticed that there is not much talk about horses here in the past few blogs. Well, as most of you know, Kathy and I sold a couple of our horses, Ziggy and Tim the Gray. I’m not taking in anymore outside horses till we get back from our trip to Winfield, and Herb has me busy making those Cowboy Man Bars. So, between getting the horse trailer ready for the trip and helping Herb, that’s about it.
My neighbor Mark, is gone to see his mom down south and yesterday his horses got in to a, pretty good size, bucket of grain and he was a little worried about them trying to colic. I went and checked on them yesterday and will this morning, but they are doing just fine. No sign that they are in any kind of distress, unless you call a fat belly distress. If that’s the case I’m in big trouble..
Thought I would show you some peaches that Kathy and I have got off our tree. The tree is just 2 years old and folks I have talked to said it will probably do even better next year… We are pretty busy with everything else so we are going to freeze the ones we don’t eat, and make jam this winter.
Better get and feed and check Mark’s horses…
Will try and keep you updated with info on what the heck I'm doing with horses and music.
