Some good pickin going on!
Pocket is doing better and better everyday. She has a fractured bone in her pelvis and it sure hurts but she is getting up and around so that’s all good news.
Kathy, Montana, and I have some good friends here from Kansas. Russ and Sherry. I used to play in a bluegrass band called Live Bait with Russ. We picked together for almost 10 years I guess. Is always a treat to have them here and tell stories and play music together. Last night we all sat in front of the fireplace and played till we started falling asleep. We are going to show them some of the old forts that are in our area today, but first the horses.
Bitsy is doing better and better. Her progress is a little slower then most horses but I don’t attribute that to her being slow mentally. I think she just does not wan to give her place up in the herd. For some horses that just takes time and consistent training. She will come around.
With the weather the way it’s been the passed several days I have not done much with Zeb the Black. Will get back to him next week and see if we can get him ridden, along with Bitsy.
Will try and keep you updated with info on what the heck I'm doing with horses and music.
