Mackie, I have always hated ground work but with the clinic and DVD to take home - and the fact that you make the lessons "bite sized" I am able to find both the time and the enthusiasm. I am totally amazed at how the ground work affects riding. The ripple effects of my 10 minutes of work every day are quite astonishing. Now it is 100 degrees, I am hoping that this good stuff continues when it is colder and breezy.I just wanted to let you know that your efforts were not wasted and to thank you again for having the forsight to make that DVD and be generous enough to give each one of us a copy.

hi mackie - just a ps to say "thanks" for another great day. lots to process and good work to move forward with. thanks for your patience.... and clarity. sometimes it's difficult, but mostly good, to see the places that really need change and work on my part. your watchful eye and excellent timing are effective, now the challenge to change old habits is my job for sure. you've got me pretty well figured out, so i'm glad to have your help in trying to make it all better and safer for me and my horses.

What a satisfying day spent with Mackie training me & Max! I feel empowered
and more confident and so pleased to have gotten so much training done in a
day. And I had fun :)
Mackie, your abilities to train both people & horses, each one being at a
different level, are very good. A teacher meets the student where they are at and I found you did just that with me yesterday at the clinic.
I look forward to the next clinic! Count me in.
And to all the Rail Birds & horse-handler participants--thanks for each of
you being there. I appreciated the support and conversation and excitement and it seemed well received by all.
